Pressure Control and Manifold Solutions

Our pressure control solutions are engineered to API Standards and rigorously tested to ensure dependable performance when it matters most.

1 Choke and Kill Manifolds

Choke and kill manifolds are critical well control systems that manage downhole pressure during drilling operations and well control events. SANMON manufactures API 16C certified manifolds configured to your specific operational requirements, with pressure ratings from 5,000 PSI to 15,000 PSI.

Each manifold assembly incorporates manually operated and/or hydraulically actuated Gate Valves, adjustable chokes, and fixed chokes mounted on a structural steel skid with lifting eyes for ease of transport and installation. The valve arrangement allows flexible flow routing through the choke circuit and direct kill line access to the BOP stack, enabling rapid response to changing well conditions.

Our standard manifold configurations include single choke, dual choke, and triple choke arrangements. Each manifold undergoes a complete factory hydrostatic test at 1.5 times the rated working pressure, followed by a low-pressure gas test to verify seat integrity on every closure. Material traceability records and pressure test certificates are provided with every manifold shipment.

2 Surface Safety Valves (SSV)

Surface safety valves provide the final barrier against uncontrolled flow at the wellhead, automatically closing in response to emergency shutdown (ESD) signals or loss of control pressure. SANMON supplies API 6A certified surface safety valves compatible with major actuator systems including Cameron, ACT, and other industry-standard interfaces.

Our SSV gate valves feature a fail-safe close design where loss of hydraulic pressure to the actuator causes the valve to close under spring force. The valve body and bonnet are manufactured from forged alloy steel with full material certification, and the gate and seat assembly is available with metal-to-metal sealing, soft-sealing, or hybrid configurations depending on service conditions.

Available sizes include 2-1/16", 3-1/8", and 4-1/16" with working pressures up to 10,000 PSI. Pneumatic diaphragm actuators and hydraulic piston actuators are both available, with position indication and partial-stroke testing options for integration with modern safety instrumented systems (SIS).

3 Plug Valves and Flow Control

For high-pressure fracturing and well service applications, SANMON supplies FMC/SPM-compatible plug valves with 2" FIG 1502 hammer union connections, rated for continuous service at 10,000 PSI and 15,000 PSI working pressures. Our plug valves feature a floating plug design that ensures consistent sealing force across the full pressure range, and the cylindrical plug geometry provides full-bore flow with minimal turbulence and pressure drop.

The plug and insert assemblies are manufactured from case-hardened alloy steel with precision-lapped sealing surfaces for gas-tight shutoff. Grease injection fittings allow in-service seal replenishment, extending valve life in abrasive service environments. Each valve is individually tested for body integrity and seat leakage before shipment.

4 Blowout Preventer (BOP) Systems

SANMON supplies API 16A certified blowout preventers and associated equipment for drilling and workover applications. Our BOP product line includes annular preventers, single and double ram preventers with pipe rams, blind rams, and shear rams, as well as drilling spools, adapters, and flanged cross-overs for BOP stack integration.

Each BOP is manufactured with rigorous quality control including 100% ultrasonic testing of all pressure-containing forgings, complete dimensional verification of ram cavities and bonnet seal areas, and full pressure testing to API 16A requirements. Our manufacturing quality system is certified to API Q1 and ISO 9001 standards.

We understand that BOP performance is measured by reliability when needed most. That is why every SANMON BOP undergoes a complete functional test in our factory before shipment, simulating the operating conditions and control system interface it will encounter on your rig.
