1. Product Description

An emergency relief valve, commonly known as a relief valve, is a critical safety pressure protection device widely applied in oil and gas, petrochemical, offshore platform, wellhead, pipeline and industrial pressure vessel systems. As a core passive safety component, its primary function is to automatically release excess internal pressure when the medium pressure inside pipelines, tanks or equipment exceeds the preset safe threshold, effectively preventing equipment rupture, medium leakage, explosion and other major safety accidents caused by overpressure. Once the system pressure returns to the standard safe working range, the valve will automatically close and maintain a stable sealing state, ensuring continuous and safe operation of the entire industrial system.
Different from conventional regulating valves, the emergency relief valve focuses entirely on safety protection rather than flow regulation. It features full opening response, high sealing precision, stable pressure relief performance and strong environmental adaptability. The valve adopts a spring-loaded pressure regulating structure as the core, with optimized valve core and sealing surface design, which can quickly respond to instantaneous pressure surges caused by medium temperature changes, flow fluctuations and sudden working condition changes. All flow passages are polished and optimized to reduce fluid resistance, realizing rapid and stable pressure relief without vibration or noise during operation.
